Q3 Recap - Things That Melt My Heart

july 9 - "aaahh, there's a bug in Aidan's house!!"

july - "it's my favorite" (used for chocolate, chinese food, toys, etc.)

july - i found the coolest hats at the $1 spot; aidan's favorite hat is the firefighter hat. he likes to wear it, and then ask "are you burning?" then he goes to get his hose from his fire truck and spray us off. after he sprays us off, he gives us a towel to dry off with.
  
august - "a, b c, f and g, now i know" vd

august 21- aidan's response to us when we asked him why and how he climbed out of his crib: "i growed up, just like you, and i already took my nap" 

september - "i want to do that by myself"

september - "come on guys!"

Q2 Recap - Where did the time go??

April 1 - When Aidan heard the garage door opening (Steve was just getting home), he gasped and said, "Who's that?" I told him it was Daddy, and he replied "Daddy, my friend."

April 7 - As Aidan I were leaving the park, I told him to keep his eyes out for a stick or rock to pick up. He replied to me by stating "I don't want to take my eyes out!" Along the same lines of his eyes, lately when we've been in the car and the sun is in his eyes, he says "Oww, I need new eyeballs."

May 16 - This morning we were playing with an airplane Steve brought home from Miami a few months ago, and Steve asked, "is that plane from Miami?" and Aidan says "no, not your-ami, from mi-ami!"

June 28 - After our Toy Story 3 movie fun and in his Woody themed jammies, Aidan said "I'm Woody, and daddy is Buzz Lightyear" then he asked "What you are mommy?" I told him I was Jessie.

Q1 Recap - Things that Melt My Heart

January 3 - I was walking by Aidan's nursery class room and one of his teachers asks the class, "Are you a child of God?" and Aidan is the only one who answers, "Yeah."

January 25 - Manners Count! As I am putting Aidan in his crib to go to bed, I ask him if he wants to listen to music, and once I turn it on, he says "Thank you mommy." On the occasionally early mornings where he ends up in our bed, he ask "can I have milkey please?" and then when I bring it to him replies "thank you."

February 5- Aidan's favorite new thing is to tell you to "comere" (come here); comere to play, comere to go somewhere, etc. It's so neat to see him develop and grow each day. He is full of life and personality.

February 14 - Tonight as we were putting Aidan to bed, saying prayers and reading, he decided to put us to bed on the floor of his room. He told us each goodnight, gave us a kiss and then went out of the room and shut the door. A minute or so later he came back in to wake us up.

February 25 - Last week when we were at Aidan's 2 year appointment we found out he has an ear infection. So we've been giving him his medicine two times a day, and the easiest way to do it is with him looking in the mirror at himself - who knew!

March 7 - I Love to See the Temple! Aidan loves singing this song and never gets tired of singing it - he usually will chime in on the last word of each phrase.

March 18 - "Shtam Up" Aidan's way of saying stand up.
