Spring Break 2014 - Arizona

What a great break we had! It was low key and gave me a chance to get a little rest. Steve ended up coming down later (he hates to be left out!) and we had so much fun. We went to the farm and picked vegetables, rode on the train, Aidan shot a play gun, I had the best peach pie ever and saw the car show.

We ended the trip at Squaw Peak and had a blast at the pool - especially on the slides and lazy river!

Surprise!

For a few days I'd been feeling a little off - smelling things more than usual, the achey-ness you know where. Then I realized I was a little late (like 2 weeks) and took a pregnancy test, actually 2 pregnancy tests - just to be sure. It came back positive! The pictures below are how we told Steve what was happening at home. He called to ask what we were doing... Then I sent him the picture of the test result. He still wasn't convinced, LOL. After my initial doctor appt he was about 50% convinced - he needed to see an ultrasound to be sure. 

We are so excited and can't wait to meet this little one!

Just a few notes: Preston loves his "Bones" jammies and wears them all year long; he also looks so great in that hat! Aidan has just started to bunny-ear everyone - what a boy!
