Steve and Aidan go to Salt Lake for Soccer

Honduras came to play the US in a World Cup Qualifier game - Steve of course had to go and took Aidan with him.

Steve's Surprise Trip

So I had this brilliant idea to surprise Steve with a trip to Vegas for his 30th… I planned everything and made all the arrangements (airfare, hotel, friends meeting us there, working with his coworkers and boss, etc.) It was going to be awesome.

The week before we were leaving things kept coming up like box seats for a soccer game, guys night and work deadlines. Worried that everything wouldn't fall right into line, I decided to tell him the night before our AM flight. 

His reaction will prevent me from ever doing this again - LOL. He didn't even believe me at first and thought the whole thing was a weird joke. Then once it sunk in that it was real, the stress came on. He spent the rest of the night making arrangements for work.

Once we were there and settled he was really happy and we had a wonderful time. It was really fun and  a great weekend away.
