St Patty's Day

This year the leprechaun's came every day leading up to St Patty's day. They left trails of mini marshmallows, green grass, gold coins and coconut. They even peed in our toilet (did you know they have green pee?). Our trap didn't find any of them this year, but we have high hopes for next year. 

We made a delicious feast for dinner and I loved the corned beef recipe I used from Food Network. The rainbow cake turned out  really well also (focus on the cake not the picture), but next year I'll be sure to make more of each color (inspiration from here).

Preston is 6 Months Old - Aidan is a Great Big Brother!

It is so fun to see Preston and Aidan interact. Preston looks at Aidan like he is the best thing he has ever seen. We can always count on Aidan to cheer Preston up and make him laugh. They were definitely meant to be brothers and I love them both so much.

Teeth! Not one, but TWO

Preston got his first two teeth, about a day a part (Aidan did this too). 

They are both on the bottom. 

We hope to all get a better night's sleep now :)

Aidan's Birthday Party- Jedi Training

We had a lot of fun with Aidan's birthday this year. We can't believe he is 4! We had the padawans make bags to collect their jedi training items: jedi robes, space shooters, light sabers, galactic space balls, etc. Steve even made a "death star" piñata and light saber stick. It was so fun and Aidan had a great time. We just had to reassure him that Darth Vader was first a Jedi and then turned into Darth Vader, so was okay for him to be a jedi at the party -- he loves Darth Vader!
